ISBIR CONSTRUCTION & LANDSCAPE CORP. RECEIVES NATIONAL SAFETY AWARD

Elizabeth, PA, October 10, 2006 – Isbir Construction & Landscape Corp. announced today it was recently awarded the Overall Safety Achievement Award in the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) annual Safety Recognition Awards Program. It will be recognized for its achievement at the PLANET Green Industry Conference awards banquet in Columbus, Ohio. The awards program is sponsored by CNA and Ariens/Gravely/Stens. PLANET’s safety program reflects its dedication to creating and maintaining safe work environments in the green industry and is designed to reward green industry service providers who consistently demonstrate their commitment to safety.

Mr. Mike Isbir of Isbir Construction & Landscape Corp. said he was “…extremely pleased to be recognized for our efforts. We spend a lot of time and money ensuring that all aspects of our business are done properly to keep our employees, our customers, and the public in general safe. Receiving a national award for our safety program reiterates our constant commitment to quality, professional service in every aspect of our business”.

Isbir Construction & Landscape Corp. was founded in 1997 by Mike Isbir, an Elizabeth Township resident, who decided that his summer grass cutting business could go much further. Experience has always been a large factor in the green industry field but Mr. Isbir knew that the key was education. Mr. Isbir attended Penn State University to receive his Civil Engineering degree. Most all of his staff either hold bachelor degrees or are continuing their education with Isbir’s encouragement. The combination of education and experience is one reason they are enjoying a decade of prosperity and success.

Isbir Construction & Landscape Corp. specializes in retaining walls, paving stones, drainage systems, excavation, and much more. They strive to provide the most efficient, quality, and professional services to all of their clients. “We must constantly stay on top of our safety program or else we would not be truthfully attempting to properly serve our clients. We want our clients to feel confident in entrusting us with their projects. Knowing that we take safety seriously enables clients to do so”, said Isbir.

Companies that enter PLANET’s safety awards program are required to submit a copy of their OSHA 300A Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses report and their year-end vehicle insurance claims summary report. These reports are used in determining award recipients. All award recipients are to be congratulated for their superior dedication to safety excellence.

PLANET represents approximately 4,400 green industry service provider companies and suppliers nationwide that specialize in lawn care, design/build/installation, interior plantscaping, and landscape management. These firms and their employees represent more than 100,000 green industry professionals.
